Welcome to the Women of the Towing & Recovery Association of America!!
The Women of the Towing & Recovery Association of America was established in 1981 as an affiliate of the Towing & Recovery Association of America (TRAA). Its goals are to provide financial aid to the TRAA, support women in the towing industry and grant scholarships to children of towing professionals to further their education.
Important Notices & News:
All members and guests are invited to attend our Annual Spring Board Meeting in Orlando, FL. It is held in conjunction with TRAA activities and the Florida Tow Show. The WTRAA Spring Meeting is set for Friday April 10, 2015 from 12-1:30pm at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista in the Hibiscus Room. Make your plans now to attend!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!!
WTRAA is excited to announce that this past Fall we unveiled an exhibit at the ITRHFM called “Women in Towing”. This area in the museum is dedicated to preserving the history of all women in the towing industry. We are looking for items to be donated or loaned. If you have any memorabilia that you wish to submit, you can contact Cheryl at the museum or any WTRAA board member or use the contact us page!
We are asking members to give a monetary donation to help support the start-up and up keep of our space in the museum. It can be any amount. Donations can be mailed to : WTRAA c/o Melanie Matthews 851 Brenkman Dr. Pekin, IL 61554. Please note “museum display” on your check. Or simply click on the donation button above. Again, any donation is helpful so please consider helping. We will have a display listing all the names of our generous donors.
