Welcome to the Women of the Towing & Recovery Association of America!!
The Women of the Towing & Recovery Association of America was established in 1981 as an affiliate of the Towing & Recovery Association of America (TRAA). Its goals are to provide financial aid to the TRAA, support women in the towing industry and grant scholarships to children of towing professionals to further their education.

2017 WTRAA Elections
The 2017 WTRAA Election Slate of Officers has been announced by the WTRAA Nominating Committee Chair Jean Underwood.

2nd Vice President: Jessica Kuntz
Treasurer: Cynthia Martineau
This year we have an uncontested election. Per our bylaws (see below) no ballot will be required and the slate will be accepted by acclamation.
Article VIII – Election of Officers and Directors
Section 3. Nominations & Election Procedures.
i.In the event of an uncontested election no ballot will be required or mailed to the voting
membership. The slate will be accepted by acclamation and announced at the Annual Meeting.
We will be accepting nominations for the positions of 1st Vice President and Secretary during the 2018 election cycle.
We would like to thank the Nominating Committee and Jean for their time and effort participating in the election process.
WTRAA Annual Meeting
All members and guests are invited to attend our Annual Board Meeting in Orlando, FL. It is held in conjunction with TRAA meetings. Please plan to attend on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 5:00 pm at the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Orlando FL to welcome in our new Officers.
2017 WTRAA Scholarship Fund Application
The application period for the WTRAA Scholarship Fund is now open. The deadline for all submissions is 6/9/17. Please find the application on our Applications/Forms page.
WTRAA is excited to announce that we unveiled an exhibit at the ITRHFM in 2014 called “Women in Towing”. This area in the museum is dedicated to preserving the history of all women in the towing industry. We are looking for items to be donated or loaned. If you have any memorabilia that you wish to submit, you can contact any WTRAA board member or use the contact us page!
We are asking members to give a monetary donation to help support the start-up and up keep of our space in the museum. It can be any amount. Donations can be mailed to : WTRAA c/o Cynthia Martineau 104 Walnut Street Leominster, MA 01453. Please note “museum display” on your check. Or simply click on the donation button above. Again, any donation is helpful so please consider helping. We will have a display listing all the names of our generous donors.
